Is my drawing uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, so the DXF is read and the result is made on your own computer. Nothing is sent to a server.
Which DXF files work?
DXF files from AutoCAD R12 up to the 2018 format, in text (ASCII) or binary form. That includes the R12 DXF many CNC, laser and cutting programs save.
What if the DXF has no layouts?
Then you get one page of model space, fitted to an A3 sheet. An R12 DXF, for example, has no layouts.
How long does it take?
The first DXF loads the converters once, which takes a few seconds; most drawings then take a few seconds more. Very large files take longer, because everything happens on your computer.
Can I print it in black and white, or only some layouts?
Yes. Under Colours, pick Black and white (every line black, as AutoCAD's monochrome plot style) or Grayscale before you add the drawing. When the PDF is ready, each layout is listed with a tick: untick the ones you do not want and the PDF is made again without them.
What if something is missing?
Some things don't print yet: 3D solids, external references and construction lines are left out, and the result lists anything it skipped.
